I enjoy sudoku too. I hope I don't sound too ridiculous but as software engineer I find that it uses the same brain muscles as computer programming, so I use sudoku as a warm up exercise before the day's work.

It's pure logical thinking. I'm not a software engineer, but I think that logics is a big part such a job.

6. Sudoku rocks.
The Toronto Star picked it up about a month or so ago, and it became a daily ritual for me.

The Guardian Online has a Sudoku page where you can get pdf files of their daily puzzles.

Maybe it's because my brain is collecting rust, but I really need the pencil and paper so I can write down the candidate numbers in the squares. I have a hard time keeping track of it all in my head.
