no one knows who to this day (but I half suspect Brian Jones, the late founder, guitarist (as well as multi insturmentalist) of the Stones who was being sidelined by Mick and Keith)
Anyhow, the Police were tipped off that there was a party there and that there were all kinds of drugs. One weird feature is that a Canadian man with a shitload of drugs ended up just being sent back to Canada---no charges pressed and dissappeared.

I requested this a couple of weeks ago after show was over, so I'll try again.
First choice: Gimme a Pig Foot and a Bottle of Beer.
If the station's censors have a problem with that one, I'll settle for The St. Louis Blues.

OK, been thinking.
First I renew request for Mount Harissa from the Far East Suite, and/or
Con Alma with Diz and Sonny Stitt, where Sonny blows the best tenor solo of his life (as a saxist, I'm sure you already know this.) and/or
Some Dorothy Donegan. She is often overlooked as the (IMO) most Tatumesque of modern pianists. and/or
Whatever, because I always like what you play!:bounce:

Like anyone, I like hearing my requests played, but when you don't get to it, I know lots of reasons you don't. Like you want to get to others who are not such jazz "insiders" as myself, or you want to stick to a groove that my requests don't fit.
Also there's a part of me that says to not make requests, because these are tracks that I already know, and like jazz itself, it's the new and unexpected that makes it worthwhile.
So I'm happy either way. If you couldn't put on a great show without me, I'd be concerned.:loveya:
