Is it possible to grok a typical america-hating freeper fuck? |
|
Or are america-hating freeper fucks to filled with hypocrisy and convoluted "ideas" that constantly are in contradiction with each other, not to mention the constant and utter flip-flopping on everything, that they are the one thing that actually isn't grokkable?

1. Well if you can grok the ability to physically function on a level |
|
with the higher species (with none of the attendant mental capacity), and you can grok fecal matter, all you must do is combine your understanding of both and the end result is a reasonable facsimile of a freeper.

4. But it's so much more than that, the combination of which I speak |
|
involves so much more than mere brain tissue. It courses through their veins and has corrupted most of their internal organs as well.
It gives not only the impression of shit for brains, but their entire aura is infused with it.

7. Grok is not a thing, it is a complete and utter understanding. |

9. But didn't "grok" also mean, at least at some point, |
|
to sort of stare moon-faced at someone's food, alcohol, weed, whatever, to the point at which the possessor and user of the goodies basically has to share it with you, or tell you to get lost? Or was there a similar-sounding word that meant that?

10. Well, the word came from "Stranger in a Strange Land" |
|
(an excellent book by the way).
To my understanding, the meaning I listed (and that at dictionary.com) is the only one.
I may be mistaken, but if so I'm completely unaware of any other meaning.

11. I have really good friends who are fundies |
|
but are they "freeper fu$%s"? What about my cousin, the fundie minister? What about my brother-in-law? Hypocrisy and ideas that contradict each other are endemic to the human condition. I am pretty sure I have my own flaws in these matters. Flip-flopping? I wish they would. To me, flip flopping is a sign of maturity and learning, when you can admit that you were wrong about, say, the war on Iraq, perhaps because you thought there were WMDs that were a threat, and perhaps you can admit that it was the President and his cabinet who inflated that threat, not because they got bad information, but because they demanded bad information, and so on. Far more people should be flip-flopping.
I think Freepers can be like DUers - they/we are activists, at least verbally, who are concerned about where their country is heading, and they/we like to demonize the other side, and sometimes obsess about them.

Thanks.

13. I thought I was asking |
|
what is a typical freeper fu$%? On this board, anyone who drives an SUV or pick-up, or sports a W04 sticker, or who goes to church is called a "freeper" by many. I cannot even grok the meaning of this term. Were you just talking about the message board? How many registered users do they have? Do they have stars and post counts to tell between an actual FReeper and a troll? Should I try to register and do some research?

14. This is the lounge. My post was not meant to make for intelligent |

conversation, but merely to incite passion and much well-deserved hatred.
I'm not in the mood to nuance, but I understand your point.

16. Of course. Mike grokked wrongness all over the place. |
|
At the Fosterite church, for example, he grokked that the "Old One" (taxidermized neo-fundie preacher) was mere spoiled food.
Then again there were the hapless SS agents who pointed their guns of great wrongness at his lady Jill. To them he gave that little twist that causes to disappear, at a 90-degree angle to everything. If he were around (corporate) today, perhaps he'd do the same to the America-hating freeper fscks. (sigh)

17. Oh, I think we can grok their badness, sure |
|
But I don't think freeper fucks are, in and of themselves, grokkable, for the simple reason there is no coherency or internal structure to their "thinking" and the way they act.

18. I choose not to grok in fullness, |
|
but would consider a recipe for Freeper Stew if the meat is not too spoiled. Maybe a little tenderizer. May you never thirst.

It certainly is possible to grok certain behaviors and perhaps even the occasional motivation, but in order to grok such a creature in fullness, you would have to share too much of what makes them...them.
Lacking such sharing, any attempt to grok said creature would cause your cerebral matter to undergo such violent contortions as to result in true brain pain.
