Who wrote these lyrics?
trivia:

I know a mouse, and he hasn't got a house.
I don't know why. I call him Gerald.
He's getting rather old, but he's a good mouse.

You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world.
I'll give you anything, ev'rything if you want things.

Edited on Mon Nov-03-03 11:38 PM by Feanorcurufinwe
don't believe it. ;)

If you like Bike you should check out his solo albums 'The Madcap Laughs ' and 'Barrett' ... I like 'Barrett' better but I haven't heard either in years....

9. Bike - Pink Floyd
Bike

I've got a bike. You can ride it if you like
It's got a basket, a bell that rings and
Things to make it look good
I'd give it to you if I could, but I borrowed it
You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world
I'll give you anything, everything if you want things
I've got a cloak. It's a bit of a joke
There's a tear up the front. It's red and black
I've had it for months
If you think it could look good, then I guess it should
You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world
I'll give you anything, everything if you want things
I know a mouse, and he hasn't got a house
I don't know why. I call him Gerald
He's getting rather old, but he's a good mouse
You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world
I'll give you anything, everything if you want things
I've got a clan of gingerbread men
Here a man, there a man, lots of gingerbread men
Take a couple if you wish. They're on the dish
You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world
I'll give you anything, everything if you want things
I know a room of musical tunes
Some rhyme, some ching. Most of them are clockwork
Let's go into the other room and make them work

Try someting more challenging next time.

10. Okay, here goes
"New York City and the morning sun
Were awoken by the strangest sound
Reportedly as far as Washington
The tremors shook the earth as Alfie
Blew underground
Blew underground
He blew underground, yeah"

no cheating, please (hell, I don't care!)

"I'm getting tired of waiting
If you don't come home I'm leavin'
It's a hard life I'm leadin'
About to lose my mind

Ain't that a shame
Ain't that a shame
Ain't that a shame"

17. Gee your hint is driving me crazy.
I read Billy Budd just a couple months ago. Moby Dick years ago. And that hint means nothing to me....OK, I looked it up... never heard their stuff...

These two shouldn't be too hard
(who wrote the lyrics, not who had the hit records) :

"It's knowin' that your door is always open
And your path is free to walk
That makes me tend to leave my sleeping bag
Rolled up and stashed behind your couch."

"I let him slip away
He's looking for that home
And I hope he finds it
Well I'd trade all of my tomorrows
For one single yesterday"
