What's the weirdest thing you've ever swallowed?
Bodily fluids don't count.

It just occured to me my son has never been one to put anything in his mouth. I, on the other hand, swallowed most coinage and a tiddly-wink when I was four. You?

6. As a child I chewed a whole package of Aspergum
I don't know if they still make that stuff; it was nasty. And yeah, it can kill you if you ingest too much of it. So I had to go to the ER and have my stomach pumped.

For some completely bizarre reason, I also once ingested about half of a Morton's table salt container as a kid. Why? I have no freaking clue. I was a bizarre child.

I am sad today because Neil's grandfather died last night, but he was very sick so it was somewhat expected. Yet, still...

We are doing the usual summer thing, some work, some play, some shlepping the boy to the pool, a little vacation. Maybe a trip to San Fran in a few weeks...

We have had a few older family members with illnesses lately, it is difficult.

19. Gasoline out of the lawn mower. I'm not kidding.
My mom and others, including my much older sisters and dearly departed dad, swear I drank gasoline out of the lawn mower as a very small child.

They said I ran the hose to the mower, overflowing it with water, and drank the gasoline as it came out.

Gotta admit, I was pretty damn clever for a tiny tike!

21. A Bumble Bee
I was diving into the local community pool when a bee was buzzing nearby. I started to dive when the bee was buzzing near me and I accidentally swallowed it. But he didn't cause much probably - the acid of the stomach probably killed him almost instantaneously
