Alright...please don't hate me, but: I need a new Tarot reader. |
|
My old reader and I have kind of had a falling out.
Does anyone know what the best way to locate one is? Yellow pages? Online? Word of mouth.

4. Yeah, I'll have to be careful, though. |
|
My old reader was the only one in town I knew of with regular hours--she might actually be the only one in my city. She used to be GREAT, it's just that lately I think she's either decided to stop trying or she's not successfully accessing whatever her talents were OR she just decided she hates/disapproves of me. The last couple of readings have felt like she was basing her assessments on superficial judgments about my appearance and overall demeanor. I just--I wouldn't want to insult her exactly, so I would hate for the word-of-mouth thing to lead to her hearing about me with another reader.

15. Some value, yes ; however all successful teachers are temporary |
|
Outside perspective always has some value to a limited degree but maximum value comes from your own examined self.

It's actually quite rude to post something so disrespectful and hurtful in a discussion like this.

I did laugh out loud when I read bigwillq's post. I have some friends who are very much into the tarot (I'm not as you could probably guess) and I would suspect that word of mouth is probably your best bet for finding a new reader.
I've played around with the tarot a bit. I mainly like the cards for their art, but learning to read yourself is probably a worthwile endeavor if you are serious about it.
On Edit: Sloppy typing
