Anyone know how long the AOL LIve 8 downloads will be up? |
|
I've got to get a faster connection, I can't seem to get the bigger ones to come through without errors.

1. One would assume that DVDs will soon follow |

I'm hoping so. It took 20 years for the first Live Aid concert to come on DVD (and a worthy purchase I might add) so I'm hoping they'll release this concert much sooner while the iron is hot. Personally I think Live8 on DVD would be an amazing way to raise money for African Charities since everyone wants a copy of the Pink Floyd reunion

I know you are a PF purist, but have you watched Roger Water's 'In the Flesh" tour on DVD? No Gilmore but I have to admit being quite taken by the blues guitarist/vocalist that took his leads on many of the PF songs, including Comfortably Numb, Doyle Bramhall. Bramhall has been working steadily with Clapton, as well. Between Bramhall and Snowy White, they manage to do some justice to Gilmore's guitar solos, (though never rising to THAT level, of course). The quality of sound and video on this dvd is excellent..
Until the PF DVD Live 8 reunion comes out, I'll probably wear out this concert disc, although I'm still hoping to get all the AOL downloads to come through as well!
