Funny, on the "what's your image at DU thread" I finally got the guts up to post that mine was probably "Didn't she get banned last week?" which I did. Immediately afterward I sent an email to the mod apologizing for my midjudgment and the fact that I obviously hadn't spent enough time lurking before posting (much less starting a thread) with my warped idea of "edgy" humor (I'm a psych nurse, it gets like that after a long shift). Didn't ask to be reinstated; felt too ashamed to be so presumptuous. Just felt bad for offending everyone. Then out of no where the next day I got an email from Skinner telling me that they had reevaluated things and reactivated me.

Couldn't believe it I was so elated. This is the funniest, best-informed site that I know of.

My Bride was an L & D Supervisor for over 12 years (7p-7a, no less) and used to entertain me with stories forever.
Then..when we used to have the Night Shift over to the House (Wedding showers or Birthday parties) I found out some truisms of Life:
Nurses ARE: Bitingly Funny, yet empathetic to the MAX
Loving and caring
Very Progressive, Sexually
and the Best Company on any Long Trip.:woohoo:
