Have any of y'all been TUSSIN lately?

I am right now. Seriously, I forgot how high I could get off this stuff. I stopped drinking a few years ago so I am having a ball with this little buzz.

Since I'm high, let me also say that I am recovering (successfully) from surgery last Wednesday. And it is seriously annoying to have a persistent cough when you've got stitches on your chest!

1. I tried it a few times.

I had a friend who drank so much Tussin and built up such a resistance to it that he had to drink a full 8oz bottle to get high off it. He and some other friends of mine used to get together and drink, smoke, and do Tussin. Once it all hit them they'd be completely immobile. Usually there was a good deal of puking involved.

Which brings me to MY experiences with Tussin. The first time was great - no nausea, no sickness, nothing but cough-syrupy goodness. Each time after that (which was about 3 more times) I puked. The thing is, that stuff screws you up so much you don't even CARE that you're puking - you're just glad you don't feel as crappy as you did leading up to the hurl session.

That stuff can cause serious problems for your liver if you overdo it. Sounds like you've done it enough to know this, but it never hurts to make sure. Me? I'll stick with the cheeba.

4. Yikes - that is pretty scary

I know (after too much experimentation) how low my tolerance is so I won't be purposely "tussin" after this cough is gone. It's just funny how something for coughs messes with my head...

2. Just put some Tussin on the stitches!

And when the bottle runs out, mix a little water in there, and ... MORE TUSSIN!
