Are there any cheap substitutes to pool (hitting balls w/stick into holes) |
|
I need to improve my skills inexpensively as well as attempt to regain muscle strength, if possible.

you could get a book to read up on strategy. There's alot of geometrical strategy that I frankly have no clue about! I'm thinking the rest will just come naturally as you continue to practice..I'm sure some pool experts can chime in here..
Muscle strength--nothing like weight lifting.
Sounds like a fun hobby. :)

5. A dining room table, a broom, and a bucket of buckeyes? |
|
I think that's what our town idiot/part time janitor used to do. He always came into the bar at midnight still carrying his broom from his job sweeping up at the newspaper printroom. Spent his midnight lunch hour playing pool using his damn broom as a cue and never lost. He'd chalk up the tip of his old fashion corn broom and just clean up the place. Slack-jawed owners of them fancy sticks were sure pissed.
Muscle strength can be attained by using that broom for its intended purpose, and swatting republicans, too. Just an idea.
