Michelle Wie is trying to qualify for the Masters.
Apparently, she can qualify as an amateur if she wins the U.S. Men's Amateur Public Links tournament this week.

So here's the deal -- whether you are a golf fan or not. If you want to see a bunch of waspy, southern good old boy Republicans' head explode, you will be rooting for her in a major way.

1. She came within 2 of making a PGA cut on Friday
She has some future ahead of her.

2. I don't know what her hurry is though
She is only 15. Of course she will probably only get better. But it still seems like she might be pushing herself (or someone else is) too much.
