Wedding disasters... I'll start.
This did not happen to me, but to a friend of mine. A few details.. He is a guy who is 6'8' and has to have everything custom made (at least he did back then)..

We had the engageent party..the showers..the rehearsal dinner...the wedding..and off the went on their 2 week honeymoon.

They had boought a house just before the wedding, and had been having stuff delivered, and the finishing touches on the redecorating coordinated by the mother of the groom.

The honeymoon ends, and they return to their house, to find it completely empty...EVERYTHING..wedding presents, furniture, record collection,, clothes..appliances.. the works..

They started calling all of us to let us know the joke is not funny..and where is their stuff..

Apparently, Mom left the key in the garage door, and over the next few days, thieves just backed trucks up to the open garage and hauled everything out.

The new neighbors were used to seeing trucks arriving with workmen and deliveries, so they didn't even raise an eyebrow...

They never got any of it back, and since they had just gotten married and had not even lived in the house, most of the fancy new stuff was not even properly insured..

They never got anything back, and the police never solved the crime..

The only clothes he had were his Hawaii Honeymoon clothes..

3. quite happy, thanks....
And my remarks were meant as a joke, really. I'm not angry or bitter or anything-- a bit disappointed and sad that it didn't work out, maybe.

4. That's what matters.. Better to be out of an unhappy marriage
than to hang in there and be miserable forever:)
