Sad to say it but I do drive a large SUV. For both personal and professional reasons, I do need it. I am crazed that to fill it up, I just spent $58.00. I either need to get a new car (read wagon) or something else. Sheez, George, I thought you had a direct line to the oil barons. WTF.

2. What would you have bought with the extra 24.00
You would have had a few years ago? I think this is one of the reasons Hollywood as other business are doing poorly. If your business provides a service people can live without its going to get wacked when spending cash gets sucked away.

4. If you do need an SUV, perhaps a hybrid would be a good compromise...
Donno how much more they are, but heard that they bring the MPG up to what a car would be...

5. The Lexus SUV is pretty expensive.
And the mileage isn't all that much better.

8. I used to drive a Jeep Cherokee
so I'm very happy about this car. I loved my Jeep Cherokee and always said it's so useful and what have you but now I woulen't trade my HCH for anything - although if I did have the money for two cars I think I'd buy a Honda Insight for a commuter - gets like 60+ mpg but it's only a two seater :(
