1. Great to be a leo (o that self love!). Most scorpios are murdered.
They all have their strengths. I'd least want to be a Gemini (tho I'm a gem rising) or Libra (tho I'm an air sign like these two). I'd love to be as nurturing as a cancer, or as sensible as a taurus. O god, pisces would be a hard sign to be! I wish I was neat like a virgo (like SOME virgos) but I'm glad i'm not one of them either.

Dunno!

I would say that the 1 dominant trait caps have over the others is our determination is the greatest. We will keep going when others will just quit. Not always a good trait, but dominant.

9. Jesus probably wasn't a Capricorn.
Many biblcal scolars think Jesus was actually born in the spring, because shepards are only in fields during lambing season--in the spring. It's more likely that we celebrate Christmas in December because that's when the Romans and other pagans had big festivals that Christianity couldn't wipe out due to their popularity, so they co-opted them.

Doesn't diminish your inherently great Carpicorn-ish-ness in the least! :hi:

They moved him to the winter solstice cuz of that tradition of world redeemers being born then, of course

5. No, none are better than any other.
Edited on Mon Jul-11-05 11:28 AM by intheflow
But there are signs that interact with each other better than others.

For example, I am an Aquarius. Theoretically, I'm most compatible romantically with Libras and Geminis and least romanticaly compatible with Cancers, Scorpios, and Capricorns.

But that's only surface astrology. I don't really know that much about it, just dabbled in it about 20 years ago. But the astrological signs we banter around and read in the daily paper are just our sun signs. Everyone also has a moon sign, and where the planets and stars were when you were born (what "house" they were in) also influences how people behave. I've often been told that I don't act like an Aquarian all the time, and I think that's because I have a Scorpian moon. But like I said, I don't have any idea what that really means.

OK, I'll let someone who probably knows what they're talking about answer you now. :)

don't blame the rest of us! ;)

mainstream views of sunsigns are extremely simplistic. Anyone doing a chart of * could probably find all kinds of explanations for his bizarre world view and ways that he was able to manipulate the foolish to get as much power as he has. Regardless or whether or not one takes astrology seriously, his chart would probably be as fascinating to some as a psychological analysis of his family history and current actions.

The Crab is a constellation, like all of the sunsigns.

47. While I agree that the underlying science is fantasy, I believe their is
a psychological element that works to some degree. If you grow up reading what a certain sign is supposed to be like and you are one of these signs, you may subconsiously take on some of those traits. You are what you think or believe to a certain extent. I always cringe when I hear a parent say about their young child in front of the child, that they are just shy, that may be the case but I believe that sometimes parents reinforce an existing trait without thinking about it. We never forget what we read or hear throughout out life time, it is stored in our subconcious, we just get rusty at accessing the information.
