I am so tired of dealing with death.

I know it is a part of life, but I am so sick of people dieing.
We lost a good family friend 3 weeks ago, my cousin 2 weeks ago, Andy last week & my mom just called & another close family friend died this morning. On top of the news of more death, in Iraq as well as a hundred other places around the world, every day I am so sad I cannot stop weeping.

1. in the grand scheme of things

they just went down the path a tiny little bit before the rest of us. It's nothing to stay sad about. What matters is what you do here, now, today.

Or, (paraphrasing another poster on DU): "it's not who you are or where you've been that means anything. It's what you do."

So don't do a lot of weeping - it doesn't always honor the dead like we think it should. :hi:

3. I know you are right. I am just feeling so tired & sad today.

I am trying to find ways to honor them all as the should be.

2. It seems to come in bunches!

I had a period in the sixties and again in the nineties where it was constant.
