Tax assessor's office rant.
:grr:

So, here in the lovely state of VA, some counties have county stickers that need to replaced every year. You can only get it if you pay the fee and pay all your property taxes. So, two weeks ago, I get a letter that I have underpaid my taxes. They were taxing me on a boat we no longer own.

After I got that straightened out, they said the sticker would be put right in the mail. Well, here it is the 11th, they are supposed to be put on today, or you risk getting a ticket.

I ask you, how can I possibly drive to the tax assessor's office to get a sticker if I can get ticketed for not having one?

I love America.
