It is pouring from the skies now in North Georgia.
It rained in torrents all last night and this morning. I went out to the store and half the streets are flooded. I am becoming fed up with all this water. I did not go to work today because of a back problem. Well, it's a good thing that I did not try to drive in this mess.

1. Send some of it up here
All this fertile ground in Iowa is becoming baked ground as it rarely rains anymore. Good luck and hope everything turns out ok with your back as well as the weather.

2. I hear you RebelOne.
I am sick of this shit. It poured buckets all night and the wind howled something fierce. I thought it was ripping the siding off my house. I got up this morning to find items from my back porch, very heavy ones, scattered throughout my yard.

I swear if I hear anyone say "but we need the rain" I may slap them!

I have tons of branches and leaves in the yard. And I mean BIG branches. I am surrounded by trees, and I heard the broken branches hitting the roof all night. Really scary.

4. Wow. It's just amazing since we're so far from the eye of the storm
Some summer we're having, huh?
