shop vs. shoppe

1. I shop for clothing, groceries, jewelry, etc. I'd like to go downtown to

eat at that new ice cream shoppe.

In wood shop, the kids learn how to make a bookcase.

Either/or depending on how it is used.

I don't shoppe for groceries and the kids do not attend a class called wood shoppe.

But an idea is shopped around. :evilgrin:
