I love "Tales of Mystery and Imagination" and I'm listening to one of my favorites - "To One In Paradise"
The whole album is based on works by Edgar Allen Poe with Orsen Welles doing some narration work. It's a really groovy album that I love listening to when I'm in a really laid back happy mood!
BTW - here's the poem that the above song is based on:
TO ONE IN PARADISE by Edgar Allan Poe 1834
Thou wast all that to me, love, For which my soul did pine- A green isle in the sea, love, A fountain and a shrine, All wreathed with fairy fruits and flowers, And all the flowers were mine.
Ah, dream too bright to last! Ah, starry Hope! that didst arise But to be overcast! A voice from out the Future cries, "On! on!"–but o'er the Past (Dim gulf!) my spirit hovering lies Mute, motionless, aghast!
For, alas! alas! me The light of Life is o'er! "No more–no more–no more-" (Such language holds the solemn sea To the sands upon the shore) Shall bloom the thunder-blasted tree Or the stricken eagle soar!
And all my days are trances, And all my nightly dreams Are where thy grey eye glances, And where thy footstep gleams- In what ethereal dances, By what eternal streams.

I havne't heard much I like from him after 'Ammonia Avenue' (and a lot on that album is very same-y - I like the title track though). 'Old and Wise' from 'Eye in the Sky' is a classic, though, and the album is quite good overall. Old enough for you?
On edit: obviously not, from your post #3. :-(

Amoninia Ave. I love them all! This song always makes me cry:
The Eagle Will Rise Again
Lead Vocal: Colin Blunstone
And I could easily fall from grace Then another would take my place For the chance to behold your face
As the days of my life are but grains of sand As they fall from your open hand At the call of the wind's command
Many words are spoken when there's nothing to say The fall upon the ears of those who don't know the way To read between the lines, that lead between the lines, that lead me to you
All that I ask you Is, show me how to follow you and I'll obey Teach me how to reach you I can't find my own way Let me see the light, let me be the light
As the sun turns slowly around the sky Till the shadow of night is high The eagle will learn to fly
As the days of his life are but grains of sand As they fall from your open hand And vanish upon the land
Many words are spoken when there's nothing to say The fall upon the ears of those who don't know the way To read between the lines, that lead between the lines, that lead me to you Show me how to follow you and I'll obey Teach me how to reach you I can't find my own way Let me see the light, let me be the light And so, with no warning, no last goodbye In the dawn of the morning sky The eagle will rise again
