VANCOUVER (CP) - Russell Simmons, the man who made hip hop hot, angrily denies rumours that he is sewing new uniforms for McDonald's.

"Not only is it not true, I am not in talks with them, I'm a vegan! It goes against my principles," he said at an in-store appearance in Vancouver where he is promoting his Phat Pharm clothing line and practising his own brand of hip hop yoga.

"I don't eat anything that runs away from me! I'm going to have to issue a rebuttal about this."

"I'm lucky that when I get involved with things that already on the verge of success, they explode. Like I was able to do with hip hop, like I was able to do with comedy and poetry in America. I think it would be a great contribution if I could do that for yoga."

-That last paragraph is killer!! How big is your ego, Russell? Ahhh...but the guy has his heart in the right place, maybe that is all that matters.
