When was the last time you made out in the bathroom/closet at a party? |
|
For me: Saturday night.
Last time I did it, the guy was throwing furniture at me 4 hours later.
Given that benchmark, my standards might be somewhat low, but so far, no furniture, so I think it is working out well for me. :-)

5. Similar genre, but Beach says "I don't give a rip about being caught," |
|
while a closet says, "I'm pretty sure I'll be found out, but I am going to act like I want to be discrete."

(and I don't mean in the bed on the truck, but on the wall of the bed). Now that is uncomfortable.

I mean, was it just regular furniture, or that Danish stuff? Was there a Futon involved? Could this be a case of Ikea Fu?

11. Mostly rattan (chair and ottoman) |
|
but there was also a pressboard-based coffee table, and he looked ravenously at a glass dining table top before going for the rattan, so I really lucked out.
Who mixes rattan with pressboard anyway? I should have known what was coming.

31. There were really so many clues I didn't catch until it was too late, |
|
and I don't mean just the cheesy, Golden Girls furniture.
Like the fact that he was in flight school to be a Navy Pilot while I am a peacenik who has a hard time accepting war as the answer to anything. then, after the furniture-throwing incident, I wondered if we really wanted someone like that behind the controls of a multi-million dollar plane.
I was not-so-secretly gratified when I later learned he flunked out of flight school. If we have to have armed forces, they should at least be stable.

14. Yeah, there are clear downsides to it, |
|
but you can try adjusting by making younger friends.
They tend to think we're smart when we're just experienced, they love to hear stories about our early days, and they never think we are as old as we actually are. It's kind of ego boosting in the end. :-)

17. In May I made out with a straight guy in the kitchen |
|
It was at a party and we were all drunk and his wife was watching. I think he only did it in order to freak her out. And she was freaked out.
He's really hot. And I like both of them a lot, especially her. But to my credit, I did feel guilty afterward.
Khash.

39. That's too bad. Friend's friends are GREAT to kiss. |
|
In fact, my Saturday night special was a friend's friend.
The awkward ones are the kissing friends directly: you always wonder if it will ruin the friendship.
I find it is often easier to make passes at relative strangers.
