What's the deal with lettuce and pork not being integrated much in cuisines?

Okay, there is the BLT. I admit it.

2. Yea, it's like turkey, bologna, chicken, roast beef, tuna, bla bla . . .
They all have lettuce on their sandwiches. But NOOOOOOOOOO. No lettuce on hot dogs. No lettuce on pulled pork BBQ sandwiches.

IT'S TIME FOR A LITTLE REVOLUTION, BABY!!

6. That's normal.
Fries are actually better with mustard AND ketchup, but she has good taste.

9. Ever put coleslaw on a hotdog?
When I was in NC, I ordered a hotdog - they asked "do you want it 'all the way?'" which means, with everything on it. I thought, sure, why not? Ketchup, mustard, onions, chili, and then a big blob of coleslaw on top.

I said to my friend, "up north, coleslaw is a side dish, not a relish."
