1. Funny parts:
The clothes and Don Knotts.

Unfunny parts:
The rest of the show.

3. I gotta say, the stuff "Jack" does - the physical comedy
Edited on Tue Jul-12-05 02:14 AM by Skip Intro
is right up there, at times, with old Lucy stuff - very funny. When he got tangled in that ironing board, it kills me every time.

There's one where they're camping and "Jack" hasn't slept for a long time, and Larry has convinced some girl that Jack makes commercials, and when they unexpectedly (of course) all wind up in a cabin in the woods together, this woman repeatedly jumps in front of Jack and peforms some jingle for some dopey product - over the top acting, and Jack's like, what the f***. And he's exremely sleepy. Omg, that is funny. One of the funniest episodes.

And all the "literal" misheard things that equalled some sleazy sexual thing, kind of an "Airplaine" vibe there.

you're right about Don Knotts too. I just recently realized how funny he was on that show

aside from the t&a aspect, it was a funny show too

2. My daughter, her boyfriend, and their best friend, a female, just moved in
togther. I hang out there every now and then and it is like a television show, hilarious. They have these great conversations that are about absolutely nothing, they're very nice to each other and the whole scene reminds me of Three's Company without the hyperactivity.

4. Jack Ritter wasted years of talent on that show.
Look at the film work he did later. He was genuinely funny, and a decent actor.

6. It's well above average
A very good farce at its best.

The opportunity to watch John Ritter, an elite physical comedian and one of the best of his generation, in that role pushes an otherwise average comedy into the ranks of the great.

Seriously, sit down sometime and watch some of Ritter's doubletakes on Three's Company. I think they are among the funniest ever put to film.

7. My guilty pleasure
I usually have such good taste: "The Twilight Zone," "All in the Family," "M*A*S*H," "The Simpsons."

I can't explain it. I know I shouldn't be laughing, but...
