Poll question: Best town for professional sports.
I know that I left many cities off, but only 9 windows...

Boston is my choice. Die-hard fans in all 4 professional sports.

3. We do in Boston.
We booed Ted Williams, Carl Yastrzemski, Wade Boggs, Pedro, and Bill Russell.
But we LOVE them!

6. I live in San Diego but was born & raised in Boston.
Boston is my #1 sports area but I do love my Pads and Chargers too.

In spite of a long history of "sucky" teams here in SD, they still put the asses in the seats for Padres and Charger games.

12. They have a good team for a change.
In spite of the bu$h-lovin owners (Spano's), who dont want to spend money on decent players.
And as for a great place to live...Yes! Best weather in the US, laid back people. A lot of repugs but not the racist/fundie type.
I wouldnt live anywhere else.

2. overall? of those its Boston
Since you got the Red Sox in baseball, the Celtics in basketball, Pats in football, and Bruins in hockey. Same reason as yours and I may add, a lot of history in all four of those.

8. No votes for La La Land?
I mean come on! We have TWO baseball teams, TWO basketball teams, TWO NHL teams, a MLS team, TWO major sports colleges, and so on...

Only problem is that we lack a football team, but we're working on it.

10. No one went to the Rams or Raider games in LA.
They get better crowds for USC and UCLA games than the Pro teams ever got.

15. uh - what do you do the other 36 weeks of the year?
gotta have at least 3 pro sports teams to even qualify for this.

although as football teams go, GB is a top 5er.

30. I'll never forget the first time I saw the Steelers play
at Cleveland. We were waiting to get into the old Stadium when the buses of Pittsburgh fans showed up. Loud, profane, hairy, smelly drunken bunch of idiots poured out. Then the men got out......
