So Person A owes me $2,000....
Person B is buying a boat. He asks Person A to go in halvesies on it with him, to the tune of Person A needing to contribute about $500.

I know A and B will take me out on said boat, probably quite often.

I point out to Person A they still owe me money, I've been good about not bringing it up in bad ways, but still, you know, buying part of a boat and all, maybe I might want to buy something?

Person A a little ticked off. But contained. Person A tells Person B to just buy the boat himself, Person A will contribute some accessories or something.

Again, I remind Person A they still owe me money, a few hundred bucks in boat toys sounds fun and all, but c'mon, I'm trying to be as cool as possible, etc. etc.

Person A repeats ticked off attitude.

Am I in the wrong here? :banghead:

1. BOAT
I would sick person C after him, but only if person D
gets involved, but you will have to ask person E
but person E doesnt like person C, so you might have
to go to person F, but he is not to smart and real
broke, so person G might have to get involved.

Hope that solves it.

4. LOL!
My other idea was to go with "Dumbass" and "Numb-nuts" but it seemed it might prejudice the audience. :D

2. Hmmm, no you're not in the wrong, but I probably would have said
If you want to invest in the boat, your share actually belongs to me until you pay me off. You owe me the money, and I'm willing to take your share of the boat as collateral for the time being.

3. You're only in the wrong because you lent a friend money

Maybe you should sit down with person A and work out a repayment schedule.

Becaue lets's face it, $2000 is a high price to pay for a ride in a boat.
