Ah, what a pleasant evening.

72 degrees outside, in the middle of July, yet...at dinner, the Little Guy asked me if I would take him to the town park to check out the new water-spray-play-thingine they put in for the kids.

Did I mention 72 degrees? You don't gottta to beat ME over the head with no two-by-four to get me to go for a cruise with the top down in weather like that.

So we went to the park and looked at the water deal, and I scrambled his brains by whipping him around on the tire swing for a while, then he said, "Let's go to the Point and play some miniature golf." (Our town actually owns a miniature golf course right next to the ocean. Is this a great place, or what?)

So off we went, and got our 18 holes in before the clouds and rain rolled in....we each shot about 97 over par, but I figure hey,we have more fun that way because we get to hit the ball a bunch more times than we would haveif we were good at it.

Though I did get a hole-in-one on the "dogleg." Hoo-Wah! What a ath-a-lete!
