What's up with all the person-in-winshield stories this year?

Driver drove with man in windshield, police say
Suspect is arrested in fatal accident

SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER REPORTER

An Olympia man is under arrest after allegedly running a pedestrian over with his car, then driving for several blocks with the man lodged in his windshield before calling for aid.

1. wipers just aren't what they used to be
those Triple Edge Wipers they used to sell on late night infomercials would solve all of these pesky pedestrian impact problems.
