Does the word "uncomfortable" seem really odd to you? |

If you say it how it's spelled, people look at you funny. If you spell it how you say it, you get the letters in all the wrong places.

What's too freaky is when they SAY them like they're spelled, an then you tell them, and they actually didn't know. The universe is so full of such anomolies.

Probably learned it from my Boston Brahmim-accented mom.
Here's one about spelling conventions I've always liked: ghoti gh as in "tough" o as in "women" ti as in "action"
