6. No it's not!!!

When I got up this morning, I turned on the TV, and it was still tuned to Comedy Central, but it was their paid programming.

Faith healer Peter Popoff was hawking Miracle Water. All kinds of testimonials on how it cures everything from crabs to colon cancer!

I had to watch it for a few minutes. Much funnier than C-span. But, then again it was on Comedy Central.

10. Two Guesses:

The mug was layed on its side and photographed from above... so the "nipple/vortex" shape you see is actually the bubble of air within the liquid/gel "energy layer" that rose to the top (side) when the cup was layed on its side.

Or...

The mug was placed in the freezer (as per the instruction on the Walmart chiller-mugs) only it was placed there on its side, so the liquid/gel layer froze in that unusual shape and remained that way while it was being photographed.

Here's a Google Answers article on Bovis Units. Apparently they're related to "pyramid power" and are measured using a pendulum. I think that it would be more correct to refer to them as "Bogus Units".
