DU anonymous.
Who else is addicted to DU? I mean really addicted. To the point that other things in your life that should be attended to go undone. For me it's my college studies. I put things off and get behind on my readings while reading and posting on DU. Right now I should be reading a fifteen page chapter on geology for tomorrow's environmental health lecture and I haven't started on it. The lounge is just so much more interesting. My addiction has only gotten worse since I've moved off to college. I discovered DU last March and from then until a couple of months ago I had around 600 posts. I'm more of a reader than a poster. My post count has almost doubled in the two months that I've been in college. I sit here for hours, reading and posting. I wish my homework was as intersting as you all are. If it were I'd be a straight A student and taking extra credit hours.

1. Me, me, me! But,
shhhhh, don't tell anyone, least of all my boss, because I'm always on here when I should be working. I have my own office with my own computer and I'm pretty much left alone most of the time, which, for someone with as little self-control as me, is NOT a good combination, lol!

3. I find myself turning to DU
in times of stress, to escape my problems....I started out posting only a few times every so often but I began losing control. Now, I post every day, frequently at work. I have stopped communicating face to face with my family and friends. My work isn't getting done, when people come into my office, I quickly hit the close button..I am ashamed and hide my addiction from others, but I can't stop...

MY NAME IS LULU AND I AM POWERLESS OVER DU!
There, I said it and I feel so much better!
