Okay.. I just watched 2 hours of births.. What's wrong with me?
Am I the only Mom who, when flipping channels, get "stuck" on the "Birth Day", "Babies", "Birth Stories", etc shows?

I can go for MONTHS without ever seeing one, and then wham..I stumble on one, and sit there watching ...until the young William Shatner invites e to watch a fantastic "Rescue Story".. The babies are all birthed for today, and I am released..:)..

MY last baby is now 26, but I am still a sucker for those shows.. I even tear up :)..

What shows "snag" you?..even if you miss the beginning??

1. Not many... but Kolchak did, yesterday.
I'd heard of it, and while lazing around noticed it was on Sci-Fi. I ended up watching 2 hours worth, then taping 3 more. :o

2. I've caught myself watching them.
I can identify w/ all of the women who now have stretchmarks and now weigh more than they ever thought they would.
And when they cry the first time they get to hold their babies I think about how many times that kid is going to make them cry before it's all over with.
I love listening to them talk about how excited they will be when their little bundle of joy first calls them Mommy or Daddy. They'll learn that much later they will wish that their kid never learned to open their mouth.

Always gives me a good chuckle (and then makes me want another baby for a few minutes-if only to smell them!).

3. Blegh!
Sorry. Kirstie Alley phrased it right in "Look Who's Talking" about squeezing something the size of a melon out an opening the size of a lemon.

I'm never having kids, and can't even stand to watch other women having them. Yuck.

Just let me hear the "doink doink" of any Law and Order episode (pick a flavor), and I'm there.

4. Law & Order gets me too.. I even set my DVR thingie
to record most of them, but it got too confusing to follow all the different characters.. I have cut back to a couple now:)
