Is It Okay To Pee In The Shower?

No, silly... I don't mean INSTEAD of using the toilet. I mean WHILE you're taking a shower. --- When the urge strikes, should one get out of the shower and use the toilet? Or wait? Or just go right there.

It's only pee, after all. It drains right away very quickly. You save 2 gallons by not using an extra flush.

For women, makes no difference, since we're "clean" either way (i.e., it all goes down the drain where it is supposed to go.)

...I used to know a guy in D.C. who worked for the state department (or maybe he was really a spook) and traveled often to third-world countries, and he said that in South American waters there is some kind of parasite that jumps or travels up the urine stream and enters the body. Sort of like a salmon jumping a fish ladder. It was quite frightening to hear about.

Just googled, and found the name of this parasite is "candiru" -- a tiny parasitic catfish. Once inside the body, it spreads its gills and is not easily removed.
