Do you have the original, before the reduction? It might be cleaner. You also cannot read the voter verified part at the top, or the dates at the bottom, at this size.

except for the PAPER BALLOT part. I'm not sure you'll be able to get a good avatar out of this without cropping all the text out, which might defeat the purpose, except for those of use who understand the connection.

9. Text is really tough for avatars

Last year I had one that said "Kerry Kerry bo berry banana nanna fo ferry" and it took a gazillion tries to get it remotely legible. You'd probably do best sticking with "Voter Verified Paper Ballots" and go for high contrast (blue on white, say). I was thinking along the same lines as a tribute to Andy, actually.

It's okay if all we can read is "Paper Ballot", I think.

When things calm down a little, we're going to do a poster at cafepress and send the pennies to a charity in Andy's name.

But the small version is really hard to read...Avatars are real hard to make.I mean they never look like you want them to look like.

I have done about as well as I can with the avatar.

We are going to do some CafePress stuff with Andy's name, with donation money directed at a cause that we are determining.

I need a bit of time to clean it up, but here is a little 'draft' copy.

This post is gonna look odd with the avatar, the big graphic, plus my Ballot sig pic!!!
