What a silly thing to say. I never decided to become a heterosexual, I just started really liking boys in a different way than I liked girls. I can't imagine trying to have a different sexual orientation. What a waste of time that would be. And you know what? I don't think I'm that different than anyone else, whether they started liking boys, girls, or all of the above.

I wasn't aware of any homophobia where I grew up. Well, not any blatant homophobia. It was more like unspoken expectations with little to no idea that homosexuality even existed.

It's ridiculous to think of someone choosing to be heterosexual. Yet a large number of folks seem to think that non-heterosexuals make a decision to be homosexual or bisexual.
