Felt good enough to go snorkeling. :)
Pinecrest is probably still too cold, so I took my bad self down to the Melones Reservoir and tooled around with my new snorkeling gear. I was wearing my shower cervical collar, so that was interesting. :) Visibility in the reservoir sucks, but it felt good just to be in the water.

I think getting control of my blood glucose has helped. I hope I can hold the course.

3. That's fantastic, LH!
I am envious. I would love to take scuba lessons, but I just haven't had the time or spare change to do so. One day, though....

4. Awesome!
I like snorkeling as much or more than SCUBA diving (easier on the body, y'know).

Of course, I have a documented whitewater jones myself--there's just something about water. :D

8. That's great. I'm glad to hear you're feeling well enough to do that.
That must have made a huge difference in your mood as well. How have the birds been doing? Do they sense it when you're not feeling well, and adjust their behavior accordingly?
