Poll question: Is Seline a good name for a girl? |
|
Edited on Wed Jul-13-05 10:11 PM by MrScorpio
My wife wants to name our first daughter "Vaseline." I've already used my veto power on that. But then she pushes "Seline"...and mentioned that a "Seline" is like some hack Canuck songstress.
I don't kind of like that- but I'm not so sure about it, though. "Seline" is an awful lot like "Celine."
What do you think? Is "Seline" a good name for a girl?

2. It rhymes with "Feline" as in |
|
the department store Feline's Basement or feline, like a cat. I wouldn't go there. But if your wife is into hack songstress' it could be worse. She might be pushing for Mariah!

12. I thought "sail - in" |
|
but heard it referred to as sal-in. And since it has no official enunciation (it is just a series of initials) - what the heck - I guess it is "sal-in" ... or whatever fluffs one's pillow :D

As in Selena Kyle, the Catwoman...
I'd say nix to the Seline, though, for reasons already stated above.

18. My Dad wanted to name me Cinnamon and call me Cindy. Luckily, Mom |
|
vetoed it. Instead she gave him the middle name choice. I hate my middle name but at least all it is just my middle name.
Thanks, Mom!
