Anyone watch tonight's 30 Days?
I taped it and I'm watching it right now. How do they fuel their car on vegetable oil? Anyone know how that mechanically works..I'm curious. :)

1. Biodiesel
I am no chemist, but there is more people doing it than you think. Willie Nelson runs his tour bus on Biodiesel and straight vegetable oil.

You can buy kits to make it in your own garage. They run like $3000 for the machinery. There are also plans that you can find online and build your own. They include using old water heaters and tubing to construct it.

Check out these sites for more info:

3. Cool
There's actually a retail-fueling station not far from me. I hope this becomes more popular. Too bad my vehicle's not diesel.

2. I watched it
I have been reading into Peak Oil and the effects it will have on us. As a nation, we are totally sleepwalking into a massive problem. Actions like these on this show might become more and more common sooner than your think.

4. Thanks for the links
I think that American citizens are always going to rely heavily on convenience, but I think there is alot of opportunity for businesses to market environmentally friendly goods/services to consumers..
