So I was digging around through my stuff
and I found this song that I have written before the elections,

If you know Stevie Wonder and if you ever heard the remix by Raven-Symone for Disney you'll know what I was trying to do

"Suspicion" a political song
(To the melody of "Superstition" by Stevie Wonder; musical construct of the remix by Raven-Symone for Disney's "Haunted Mansion" rewording done by me.)

S-ss-suspicion

Very suspicious, things going on
Very suspicious, rumors going around
13 months campaigning (ooh ooh)
Truth comes out at last
4 more years of bad luck
(This time)It ain't gonna pass (oh ah ooh ooh)

If you believe in things & don't know what it is, then you suffer

Suspicion ain't the way

(Suspicion, na na na)

Very suspicious (Very suspicious)
War in Iraq (War in Iraq)
Get rid of the problem (Get rid of the problem)
Vote if you can (if you can, if you can)
We need John Kerry
America was strong (aah oh ooh oooh)
But Dubya ruined everything (Dubya ruined everything)
That is my song (That is my song)

If you believe in things & don't know what it is, then you suffer

Suspicion ain't the way

Oh whoa whoa whoa

If you believe in things & don't know what it is, then you suffer

Suspicion ain't the way

So, go, on, vote

(fade out music)

I know it was kinda corny but I was really amped that Kerry would win.

Also another gem that I found, it has something to do with an idea that I call "Hybrid City." They are Grand Rapidians.

I actually did this after the elections.

Dee
