You know who is lower than low?
Lower than the scummiest scum on earth?

People who hurt children and animals.

Those people are the lowest, scummiest, most awful creatures on EARTH.

6. That's interesting.
And I would have to agree.

I always say you can tell the character of a society by how they treat the youngest, oldest, sickest and poorest among them. By that measure, we aren't doing too well.

:-(

4. You're right.
That's the reason why most of those asses never go to Gen-Pop when they go to prison. They are the first ones to be raped by the rest of the inmates.
If some asshole ever commits crimes of that nature they should always hope that they never get caught. The prisoners will only be too happy to take care of them (and many times the guards will turn their backs for a few minutes).

7. I agree with you completely.
To hurt something that's innocent, that can't defend itself....is the worst thing imagineable. :grr:

9. Yep, anything and anyone who is helpless.
That's just SICK. Especially considering, with animals and children, they are so naturally loving and trusting.

:grr: <---this smilie isn't even strong enough

(This was precipitated by a thread in GD about an animal cruelty case.)

8. Yup.
Hurting those weaker than you warrants a good old-fashioned ass kicking.

11. When I was 16, I was at a friend's house
Edited on Thu Jul-14-05 12:36 PM by Bouncy Ball
and a classic teenager party was going on, but nothing big or out of control. The guy's parents had a pool and apparently some of the kids there found a little abandoned kitten. When I came out in the backyard, they had it tied to a brick with some thinnish rope and were just chucking it into the pool. They were LAUGHING.

It was February, I was fully clothed, of course (VERY old out). But I jumped in. Along with three other horrified onlookers.

I grabbed the kitten (at the bottom of a 10 foot inground pool) and swam quickly to the top and checked on it before going at one of the guys in a blind rage.

All four of us were restrained by others or we would have really hurt those three guys. One of the guys who jumped in wanted to call the police, but everyone talked him out of it. The three cat drowners left early, thank goodness.

I went home and my mother wanted to know why I was drenched. I told her the whole story, even though it involved admitting I was at a party--she thought I went to the movies with some girlfriends. I don't think I've ever been that angry in my life.

(Oh, one of the girls at the party adopted the kitten, so he had a happy ending.)
