Poll question: Do you go to a chriopractor?
I used to think they were bogous, but then I had a little back injury that just felt like it was a spine misadjustment, so I went in and viola! Within a couple days a 2 week pain was gone. Then, of course, I got hooked into going often. I now go once a month, though my health insurance just got changed so I'll have to pay for all of it myself now. Bah!

I still refer to him as my "chiroquacktor" and I do admit that I snicker a little when they call him "Doctor".

1. You got hooked
because you didn't fix the problem. See a physical therapist.

3. My doctor actually sent me to one
They've been proven to help in some cases of lower back pain. I just ignore all the talk about homeopathy, etc. I also don't let him touch my neck, it can actually be quite harmful. It's been about as helpful as physical therapy was. They've given me the same basic exercises too. I doubt I'll keep going after my treatment plan ends next week.

4. For some reason
I don't trust them working on my back. I don't ever plan to see one!

5. My mother-in-law is a
Naturopathic Doctor. She uses accupressure and does energy releases with the back, neck and joints. It is wonderful. She also does massage too. My in-laws have a school that teaches Naturopathic Medicine, Holistic Medicine, Nutrition, and have courses for becoming accredited and licensed ND.
