Let's play: Finish That Song Verse! |
|
Edited on Thu Jul-14-05 04:04 PM by Democracy White
Here's how it goes: The person posts a verse from a well known song in the subject line and the next poster says the next verse. Theb he posts a new verse in the message box and the next poster has to finish that one and start a new one. Get it?
Here I'll give you an example:
I'll start with "When the moon is in the Seventh House"
The next person finishes with: "And Jupiter aligns with Mars."
Then he posts a new verse from a new song.
Dee
ON EDIT: If you don't know what the verse is, just make something up!!

Ok since it's hard to show a visual, let me try to clear it up.
On the subject line, YOU start a verse of a song
For example
SUBJECT LINE: When the moon is in the Seventh House
the next poster will reply in HIS/HER subject line like this:
SUBJECT LINE: And Jupiter aligns with Mars
then in his message box he starts a new lyric:
For example here's what his her box would look like
SUBJECT LINE: And Jupiter aligns with Mars
"When I move you move"
then then the next poster who comes along finishes the lyric in his subject line
SUBJECT LINE: Just like that
and then starts a new lyric in his message box
Is that more clearer? I'm sorry if I messed up

14. I wasn't accusing you of avoiding me |
|
I was just continuing with the lyrics of that particular song. I just didn't understand how you wanted this thread to go.

9. You're supposed to start a new song after you post |
|
the next verse of the song the person before you posted.
Good job though.

11. For the sake of my understanding, please explain the rules a little more |
|
explicitly please.
I've played a message board game where a person posts the lyrics to a song, and then the next person takes a word or a phrase from that song and posts another song using that word or phrase.
For example: I post the lyrics to Nights in White Satin and the next person takes the word night and posts the lyrics to I Drove All Night. The person after that might take the word called (lyric: I should have called) and posts the lyrics from I Just Called To Say I Love You. And so on and so froth.
