Before I buy Spysweeper, is there any better spyware blocker I should get?

3. Personally

I just use McAfee virus scan which has embedded anti-spyware. Used in conjunction w/ zonealarm firewall (which lets you monitor any internet connections programs make), I've never had any issues w/ spyware.

Zonelabs (http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/home.jsp) has always been good to me. They also have an online spyware detector at their website.
