A Non Poll Harry Potter Post! Predictions. HMMMMM?????
Even if they're TOTALLY WRONG, thry're fun to make.

Some of Mine;

Harry is Dumbledore's Grandson.

Snape will eventually turn out (in #7) to be a REALLY good guy.

Harry & Ginny, Ron & Hermeione are obvious couples!

The Dursleys will be MAJORLY walking on egge in #6 and wind up SERIOUSLY put in their place in #7.

Supporting character final battles (#7)
Ron vs. Draco, Neville vs. Beatrix, Ginny vs. Mr. Malfoy.
I'm not sure about Hermeione's final battle, but it might be against Pansy Parkinson (the Girl from Slytheryn) or posibly a returned Umbridge.

Those are some of mine!

Adn YOURS?????????

1. Snape was in love with Harry's mother.
He was drifting to the dark side, but when she was killed, he vowed never to go back.

3. It was very obvious in the 5th book that Snape was in love with
Lilly Potter. Just the way he was looking at her when Harry was in the Penseive.

2. I predict the fundies once again will have a cow
Or, maybe two cows, which could in itself be considered witchcraft.

5. My predictions:
In book 6:
We find out that Percy and his dad weren't really on the outs, but rather he was really in the Order of the Pheonix the entire time, he was just a spy to the ministry.

Book 7:
I think Harry will live, triumphing over Valdemort, but I think some very important people will give their lives for him to live again.
I agree with Marian Jack, I think we will find out Snape is a VERY Good guy. He just acted like he was a bastard because he had to be a true slitherin so he could get the rumors from the kids to keep track of their fathers.

I think Harry will become the Defense against the Dark Arts teacher, because who would be better to teach it than the boy who lived and triumphed over evil?

I can't think of anything else.

8. GOOD Ones, Duckie!
ChicaAzul loves your Percy prediction and the Defense against Dark Arts one, too.

It wouldn't surprise me if a 60ish Hermeione became the Headmistress of Hogwarts!

BTW, We LOVE your sig line and copied it down!

Peace!

7. Hagrid is the half-blood prince
Because of his connection to Voldemort, Harry will have to sacrifice himself in order for defeat him in book 7.

9. Seamus Finnegan is the Half-Blood Prince
The reason I say this is I remember an interview with J.K Rowling who mentioned she worked with the screenwriters to make sure they didn't eliminate anything that would be relevent in later movies. In Sorcerers Stone, they go out of the way it seems to me to show Seamus Finnegan mentioning he was a half blood.

Just a hunch...I think Hagrid is too obvious!

I also agree that Snape is ging to prove to be a good guy in the end, and that he has been protecting Harry all along!

10. My monies on Sirius brother Regulus Black not being died.
I think he will come out of hiding when he hears what happened to Sirius.

Regulus name means heart of the lion. Regulus is a star in the Leo constellation.

Basilisk
The basilisk's name in Greek, translated into Latin, regulus, means 'little king'.

Now JK said that the she changed the name of COS from HBP. So maybe it had something to do with Regulus Black. Regulus came from a pure blood family . Mr. and Mrs. Black believed that to be Black made you practically royalty.
For those unfamiliar with Regulus .
From the book page 111-112.

Harry) But.. why did you..?"
"Leave?" Sirius smiled bitterly and ran his fingers through his long, unkempt hair. "Because I hated the whole lot of them: my parents, with their pure-blood mania, convinced that to be a Black made you practically royal... my idiot brother, soft enough to believe them... that's him."
Sirius jabbed a finger at the very bottom of the tree, at the name 'Regulus Black'. A date of Death (some 15 years previously) followed the date of birth.
"He was younger than me." said Sirius, "and a much better son, as I was constantly reminded."
"But he died" said Harry.
"Yeah," said Sirius "Stupid idiot.. he joined the Death Eaters."
"You're kidding!"
"Come on Harry, haven't you seen enough of this house to tell what kind of wizards my family were?" said Sirius testily.
"But I bet my parents thought Regulus was a right little hero for joining up first.
"Was he killed by an Auror?! Harry asked tentatively.
"Oh no," said Sirius. "No, he was murdered by Voldemort. Or on Voldemorts orders, more likely; I doubt Regulus was ever important enough to be killed by Voldemort in person. From what I found out after he died, he got in so far, then panicked about what he was being asked to do and tried to back out. Well, you don't just hand in your resignation to Voldemort. It's a lifetime of service or death."

I love JK's sinse of balance. Regulus being the brightest star in Leo and Black meaning the absence of light.

Regulus is said to be 100 times as luminous as the Sun.

13. Ron and Hermione, yes; but they both keep Harry on the side
though neither of them ever realizes it, and it leads to some sadness as they all three actually want to be together, but neither Ron nor Hermione has the courage to admit their relationship with Harry, and Harry, being a person of great honor, will not say anything.

14. I think
Dumbledore dies. Either in 6 or 7. Remus is probably going to die, along with Wormtail, because I think JKR's going to kill all the Marauders. I think we'll learn more about Snape's past and that he's NOT pure blood (The Snape family wasn't on the Black family tree).

15. Obvious one:
Snape was the one who tipped the Potters off that they were targeted by Voldemort, leading them to make Pettigrew their secret-keeper.

WAG method:

Nobody is related to anybody, with the possible exception of further Voldemort followers.

Nagini is Voldemort's patronus and Fawkes is Dumbledore's patronus.

Snape turns out to be a total bastard in the end.

18. Not a bad thought
but Nagini speaks parseltongue, so the only people who could talk to Nagini would be Harry and Voldy. Maybe they could carry physical messages? But if they are bound by the limitations of their kind, a stag would take some time running from say, Scotland to London. (Not to mention an otter).

I'm also skeptical that everyone in the order could produce a patronus that would be able to move around without its wizard. I'm thinking back to the coins and the mirrors for communication.

20. True
But I know that at the end of GoF, Dumbledore summoned Hagrid by producing a silvery bird from the tip of his wand, so that's my theory.

I also think James Potter was a DADA teacher at Hogwarts, and that's why the job is supposedly cursed.

22. Whoa! I was right!
JRK just updated the FAQ on her site with this answer:
"Members of the Order use their Patronuses to communicate with each other. They are the only wizards who know how to use their spirit guardians in this way and they have been taught to do so by Dumbledore (he invented this method of communication). The Patronus is an immensely efficient messenger for several reasons: it is an anti-Dark Arts device, which makes it highly resilient to interference from Dark wizards; it is not hindered by physical barriers; each Patronus is unique and distinctive, so that there is never any doubt which Order member has sent it; nobody else can conjure another person's Patronus, so there is no danger of false messages being passed between Order members; nothing conspicuous needs to be carried by the Order member to create a Patronus.

And, as many of you have deduced, Dumbledore's Patronus is indeed a phoenix"

17. Harry and Ron leave Hogwarts
And head on down to Leeds where they hijack a plane, fly to San Fransico and take up residence in the Castro district where Ron reveals he is a lesbian trapped in a man's body...

Meanwhile, Hermeione, realizing that her affection for Ron is misplaced because there is something not quit right with that boy, leaves Hogwarts and takes up with Prince Horsey Face, marries him, uses her power to kill the royal family, standing on the top of Westminster Abby with King Chucks head dangling from her bloody hand and yells out, I'm Queen of the World, take that Leonardo Decrapio....
