What's your most recent "slap yourself in the head" moment?
Mine was yesterday when I was driving to the gym and I realized that "Jara Sang" was not pronounced "Jara Sang," (as in Mason Jar) but "Har-ra Sang" as in Victor Jara....In the Santiago Stadium. I'm not a U2 fan, so I didn't make the connection and now I feel like a ditz.

And I have too many "slap myself in the head" moments to count. ;)

13. Ummm....I guess it would have to be when I missed a turn
coming back from the supermarket and ended up driving around lost for three hours in an unfamiliar city in an unfamiliar car in the pouring rain. That was more of this kind of a moment, though:

16. I once
hitched up the horse trailer, loaded the horse, and took off down the road. Someone pulled along side me gesturing frantically. I had not latched to door, so the horsie's butt was exposed to traffic. His butt-chain was there, so he was not in danger, but it was way way stoopid of me.

24. 15.2 hands,
but still about 1100 pounds.

The most laid-back horse ever. When we moved him from Whidbey Island in Washington state to Michigan, we pulled him out at rest areas and walked him around like a dog. Nothing spooks him, not even semis.

30. Guys up at work
stare at me when I talk to myself and smack myself in the head. It is usually to their stupidity that I am doing that and correcting their mistakes. Take note that I am the only female working in an oilfield company that employs 30+ in this city. Mainly I get crap for talking to myself, I just give the response "It is the only way for me to have an intelligent conversation around here!"

I have had my share of "fuck-ups" :D however I fix them. These guys, call me constantly to "help them," which of couse I do. One thing that is cool is we can screw around there and have fun. The guys know that they have no worries with me calling out sexist. I'm just one of the guys there.

31. Last week when I realized the CD that I thought would have been really
good if only it didn't have that guy saying "THE FURTHER ADVENTURES OF LORD QUAS" over the music at least three times every song...

Wait...where was I going with that sentence?

Anyway - I realized that I had been listening to an advance copy of this CD that they had purposely sabotaged to prevent file sharing. But I just thought it was a weird CD. Now that I have the actual release, without the weird computer voice talking over it, it's really good!

Ok - that made no sense, did it?

37. Mine:
We have a gravel driveway that goes up the hill beside the house and then you turn left to park behind the house. I turned on the turn signal to park. And then sat there and laughed with SO for about 10 min.
