What do you think of the name Jezebel Magdalene?
If I ever have a daughter, I'm thinking about naming her Jezebel Magdalene. This name doesn't have any negative connotations, does it?

:D

6. Not unless you're a Christian.
But then, if I had a daughter I'd name her "Lilith", and that has some pretty negative connotations if you're Jewish (which I'm not, so fuck it).

Um, okay.
Some of those aren't bad, actually...Ivy, Lithia, Pandora, a few others. But who the fuck names their kid "Nightshade"? Or "Maleficient"? (someone probably has; I'd rather not know about it.)

12. I like some of them, too. And one of my best high school friends was...
named Pandora. Of course, when we were in lit classes, you can just imagine the jokes of which she was the butt. :)

9. What about naming her Call Girl Prostitute....
...I mean, I just don't see why that would raise an eyebrow at school or on a job interview. Honestly, I just don't get you DU'ers....:D

11. Well, I thought about that.
It's a name with A LOT of power. No one would fuck with her. (They'd just fuck her.) And, even though I fulfilled some self-need to be odd and strange by tagging my kid with a name that I know will cause her grief her whole life, I dare anyone to say anything negative about MY choice in naming my defenseless, innocent baby.

Thanks for the assistance, Robeson. I shall name her "Call Girl Prostitute Smith" and FUCK ANYONE who thinks I have bad taste or that I am selfish for expressing myself through my child's name!

Just FUCK THEM.

;)

15. I'd have to just call it bad judgment, if you're going for
elegance and power.

22. sorry, but: sounds a bit silly t o me:
Jezabel means : virgin priestess (which is per se not Christian),
Magdalena is the woman from Magdala, who had been a prostitute and was converted by Jesus

My daughter´s names are Sonja Isabel, and Isabel = Jezabel. But Sonja is the Russian Version of Sophia, which means "Knowledge"

I´d not combine Jezabel with a Christian name.

Baby's named a bad, bad thing

From "Part I: Brought to you by the letter 'Y'":

"I was thinking of naming my son Toolio. Does anyone know the origin on that one?
---(Jane) DeSac

Toolio DeSac. Boy, can't think of any way that kid'll get picked on. That's one taunt-proof name there!"

:spray:
