Post a picture of a work of art that has no meaning to you

I have no feeling for this picture. It's a beautiful woman. And she has very big eyes.

This picture has never reminded me of anything!

:bounce: (:hi: Lynne ;))

picked him up and suddenly rich white guys from uptown were paying thousands of dollars hands over fists to get his pieces, and be 'cool', and 'street'.

Laughable, every last one of them. The scam artists, and the scammed.

59. Not defending Pollock per se
but there is a difference between good and bad splatter paint. It's all about color combinations and textures. Pollock deserves credit for doing good splatter paint and being one of the first. Anything beyond that is hype.

26. Statue Remembering Poles Killed by Soviets in 1940
Edited on Fri Jul-15-05 10:24 AM by JPZenger

The above statue is in Jersey City NJ near Exchange Place, along the Hudson River. It remembers the 22,000 Poles, including 15,000 prisoners of war, who were massacred by the Soviets in 1940. The Soviets for years tried to blame the Germans. However, the evidence now shows it was ordered by Stalin to remove potential leaders in Poland who could threaten Soviet domination of the country.

Christo's work is the most overrated "art" I've ever seen. I wish I could hang a long row of ugly orange curtains in Central Park and have it be called art by other people.

NYPD would probably fine me for that, though.
