Poll question: Where would the Sorting Hat put you? (Harry Potter Poll)
Or, in other words, which Hogwarts house do you think you belong to? Say why if you feel like it.

3. I'm a toss-up between Hufflepuff and Slytherin
I think like a Slytherin (being a former Republican and all that), but I've got the heart of a Hufflepuff.

And hey, Slytherins aren't all that bad - we're ambitious, resourceful, cunning, and determined. You want some of them on your side. At their best, Slytherins are like Ethan Hawke's character in Gattaca or the Blues Brothers. At their worst - well, you get Draco Malfoy.

4. Ravenclaw, apparently.
For the second time (took one of these several months ago)- so I guess it is true.

5. according to the test...
Ravenclaw.

I've seen the movies, but haven't read the books, so I'm not exactly sure what that means :shrug:

8. It means you're studious:
You might belong in Gryffindor,
Where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve, and chivalry
Set Gryffindors apart;
You might belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are just and loyal,
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true
And unafraid of toil;
Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,
If you've a ready mind,
Where those of wit and learning,
Will always find their kind;
Or perhaps in Slytherin
You'll make your real friends,
Those cunning folks use any means
To achieve their ends.

17. Ah! Thanks!
that fits perfectly, then!

I'm currently working on my Master's, and if I had unlimited funds...(or was willing to accrue student loans ad infinitum) I'd probably spend most of my life in school, learning...something. :D

23. well
the few questions there were were probably too heavily weighted statistically!

I guess I don't think of myself as particularly brave, and you think of yourself as more smartly devious than you are! ;)

9. I chose Hufflepuff because I think I'm a bit of a weenie,
but then I took the test and they say I'm Ravenclaw. Yay!

11. No shame in being a Hufflepuff
They're the hardest-working and most devoted of the bunch!

Sometimes they go off the deep end and turn into slackers - but not that much.

Gryffindor and Ravenclaw for me.

21. I think I would end up in Ravenclaw
because I'm not so big on the kind of courage that Gryffindor would require of me, I'm not much on the overall blandness of Hufflepuff, and I'm certainly not evil or scheming as Slytherin would need. I am, however, quite well acquainted with the search for wisdom and philosophy that Ravenclaw would need.
