After an hour on hold w/ Power Co, I learn . . . |

Anyone can call up at anytime and change the name on your account. Apparently, some dumb ass that didn't know their address gave Pepco my address. Pepco without verifying shit or letting me know, closed my account and put this person's name on it. :wtf:

Entered the address in wrong. I also live in an area where there are similar street names - Aves, Places, Sts.
I plan on writing a few letters about this. I find it somewhat ironic b/c the DMV considers a utility bill in your name to be proof of residence.
