Did coffee keep my weight down? |

I just realized something today. I have been putting on a few pounds in the stomach area and I realized it started happening around the time I quit drinking coffee. That was about a year or so ago, maybe a bit longer. I'm thinking I should go back to my coffee. Of course, not drinking beer anymore might help too..lol.

LOL... I know, that's regarded as middle aged. From what I understand, your metabolism doesn't really slow down, it's the person that slows down and by the person slowing down the metabolism goes along with it.

just an empirical observation... I quit drinking beer (yeah, I know) and my weight went down. I quit smoking and my weight went up. n/b when I was laid off, I exercised (mild/roller blades) and my weight went down. Now I work (joined the coffee club - one doughnut a week, yummy) current status - I'm a guy with a slight m/a bulge.
on edit: spelling - I seem to do that alot
