Dumbest movies/tv you have seen & what you thought was so bad about them? |
|
Why do so many script writers have so few brains? Myself I am not even sure where to start on movies/tv shows and idiocy, seen so much of it over time. Even good movies I have seen have some dumb things in them.
On the flip side as well, seen anything where the movie/show was real smart and people actually acted like 'normal' folk might?
I will kick down a few beers and try to organize the flash of movies spinning in my head that qualifies (and don't even get me started on tv shows...).
Have at em and give em hell.

The scene that made me go...WTF??, was when they are all in the tent at night and are scared shitless PLUS they hear strange noises outside.. so what do they do?? They all go to Fucking Sleep!! They could have taken turns pulling "guard Duty" but NOOOOO. What a pack of Idiots.

Obviously Titanic sucked. I loved the movie--hate to admit--but only because of Kate. Not her best work, but I love Kate. I would watch her in any movie, even a Lifetime one. Reasons? Stupid-ass trite, cliched dialogue. Okay story, shitty script.
TV shows? Gosh, the worst I can think of was 90210. The "problems" were so public-awareness ad cheesy, the acting was bad, and the so-called "teenagers" looked to be in their late 20s, early 30s.
I really really think maybe we don't give actors enough credit, now that I think about it. Can you imagine anyone but Edward Norton in his role in Fight Club? Or some other Rainman?
